From Babelfish:

"You do not let bludgeon and demobilize by the surveys. When I intend the line to say that the carrots are cooked, it is indecent"

The original:

Ne vous laissez pas matraquer et démobiliser par les sondages. Quand j'entends la droite dire que les carottes sont cuites, c'est indécent

It's actually a quote from Ségolène Royal, the French Presidential candidate. La droite is "the Right" in a political context, not "the line", and sondages would be better as "polls" than as "surveys". J'entends (from entendre) is apparently meant to have the meaning of "to hear" rather than "to intend" or "to mean", which reverses the entire meaning of the sentence (who would have guessed entendre would itself have a double meaning?) Finally, les carottes sont cuit,"the carrots are cooked" is actually a valid French idiom, with a meaning along the lines of "it's done and nothing can undo it", the horse has bolted etc.
