I needed a new battery for it, and, after the various recalls, I wanted to get one from the Apple site. The only battery they listed that was close to mine was called a 14.1-inch iBook battery. I was pretty sure my ibook was always called "14-inch", and, checking the battery, the existing battery was explicitly labelled "14-inch iBook Rechargeable Battery".
After a bit of research, in which I determined there was only one battery for all dual-usb G4 ibooks, I ordered the 14.1" iBook battery. It arrived yesterday. I opened the box. It was labelled "14-inch iBook Rechargeable Battery", just like the original. (The part number was the same, but the casing was slightly different and the new one was made in Taiwan instead of China.)
