A flat translation
Apr. 11th, 2007 08:16 pmThe makers of the Chinese-market Beethoven cd I'm listening to apparently used "Es" and "As" in the German style, as abbreviations for E flat and A flat respectively. Unfortunately, they carried it on a bit too far and the cd label notes that Sonata No. 26 is known as "lEflat Adieux" and the label at the bottom reads "Ludwig Van Beethoven 25/26/27/29 The Piano Sonataflat"
