Day of Wrath

Thursday morning, 5:40 am. I pad slowly into the kitchen still half asleep and flick on the radio. They are playing a 'Dies Irae' at full volume. Oh, I think. That sort of day.

Then an announcement comes on saying that they are once again apologising for the service problem and that normal programming will resume shortly. Someone put 'Dies Irae' on an emergency tape. Gotta love a little black humour in the morning.
