Writing update...

khiemtranHome today looking after a sick baby. Which at the moment involves sitting on the couch listening to some Mozart while the little guy sleeps.
I haven't managed to get any writing time for the last week and the break in momentum is starting to show. Worse, I've had to backtrack a little with the story at hand and it's even harder to build up momentum when you're rewriting something you've done before. On the other hand, I'm at an interesting decision point. According to the outline, the characters are supposed to be heading back to an earlier story location for a council scene and a regroup prior to the next big action. But right now though, another possible story arc has opened has opened up, which sees them pressing on further, into new and deeper trouble, before they finally make it back. I'm going to have to think about this carefully.
