Zhongguo on my mind

khiemtranFor some reason, I'm being reminded of China from every direction lately. It's been six or seven years now since I've last been there, and I realised just last night that every one of my friends there has since left. Well, not exactly, I do know someone who's studying in Shanghai at the moment, but she's due to return to Australia very soon anyway.
In the last six years, I've forgotten most of my Mandarin, and I've also missed a lot of changes. There's a real sense that when I do get back there, things will be very different. I wonder how long it will before I can take Liem there to show him around.
