After the climb, the drop over the other side... Two whole chapters have just presented themselves on re-reading as "not good enough". I think the ideas are still sound, but they're a bit like jokes that don't come off - the execution is flawed there somewhere. I'm going for a light comic touch in both of those chapters and I think my timing is a little out - it's quite hard to pace a joke when I only write small snippets each day. Now to decide if I should go back and rewrite them now, or press on and fix them later.
