Picture taken on my lunchtime run. If I'd had more time, it would have been great to sit and watch like those boys on the tetrapod.

Actually, the sea was quite smooth most of the time, with just these big, long-period waves rolling in from the ocean. They must have been generated a long way out to sea. These sorts of conditions are quite deceptive because at first glance the sea looks calm and it takes a while to realise how big the waves can get.

Exactly! And I never understand why people spend so much time watching television when there are surround sound experiences like this on offer.
