Names revisited

I'm leaning towards changing "Dalmin" in The Silver Bowl to "Daumin". It's a relatively small change, the two words probably even sound identical, but for some reason, Daumin just sounds more believable. Just as importantly, "Daumin" leads on to a whole flood of new words and names that I can use for the Kor people and their language. I wonder if the problem before was that "Dalmin" just didn't fit the feel of the Kor language, as I imagined it.
