The clear skies meant there wasn't much of a sunrise to photograph this morning, but as a consolation, I saw at least ten humpbacks. One of them actually did a breach in front of that container ship.
Yes, the light was still good. There's been a bit of orange haze around lately (which usually means bushfires, but I haven't heard of any locally). The trouble with clear skies is that the sun just comes up with a bang and then it's too bright for really good sunrise shots.
