Cape Bailey Track

Saturday afternoon and we've finished our shopping, so it's off for a walk along the Cape Bailey track...



Along the way, we might see an australasian gannet or two...



Vivid colours.



And spectacular views.



And maybe even some divers enjoying the view underwater.



We made it as far as Tabbagai Gap before turning back.



Where we parked our car. I don't know when the rocks fell down, but it must have been noisy when they did...

I was down at the coast here earlier today and grey was the predominant colour.

It's one of my favourite places over the cooler months because you can see the humpback whales go past on their migrations. The north-bound migration has just started, but we didn't see any that day. I think the official whale-watching season starts next week.

Oh thank you! How amazing that this coincides with my reminiscing about our special spot in Basque country. The geology looks strikingly similar and just as stunning.
