Misty morning at Cronulla

Easter Monday morning, and a heavy fog has rolled in over the beach at Cronulla...



The swimmers in the ocean baths look like they're swimming in liquid mercury.



And the fishing boats hover precariously on the edge of nothingness.



A short while earlier, this is what the sky looked like as the fog rolled in with the sun behind it.



A wall of fire, just before we're engulfed by a world of white.

Yes, it was a bit of a strange morning. It ended up being a hot day after the fog burnt off and then we had a storm in the afternoon.

The clouds in the sunset picture at the end make me think of jupiter. And in those earlier photos, the water looks like lace or ivory filigree.
