I think they're small enough that they've probably been exported by accident a few times...

It was actually quite common to see shetlands near the farm where I grew up. There were lots of hobby farms around there then. Now, it's mostly all houses.

There was a full-sized horse float parked near the lagoon, so it must have been a surprise for any bystanders to see the tiny ponies come out.
