These last three days we've been down in Johore Baru, visiting Legoland Malaysia.

We stayed in the wonderful Legoland Hotel, where each floor had a different theme.

We ended up with a pirate themed suite...

The hotel was filled with Lego creations, often in surprising places...

Liem cracks the code to the treasure chest, using a sheet of clues, and finds a Lego bounty inside...

The foyer is also filled with Lego, for kids (and adults) to play with.

Out in the park, there are lots of Lego models, as you might expect...

But there was also a full theme-park, with lots of Lego-themed rides.

Here Liem astounds local observers by coming to a complete halt in the middle of the road when a red circle lights up on a pole.

The park is very child-friendly and there are lots of surprises everywhere you look...

Nobody touches these strollers!

As it was midweek and during school term, there were practically no queues for any of the rides.

We went on this dragon about five times. Twice we were the only passengers.

Next to the theme park was a water park, an excellent idea in the Malaysian heat...

Again, there were no queues for the waterslides, so Liem had an "epic" day charging up and down again and again.

And for some indoor entertainment - Lego robotics!
