Flute update

Two months in and my tone is woeful, but much better than a month ago. My bottom C is now almost strong enough to be usable. I can now leap octaves on the bottom three holes just by rolling my lips, but I still have to overblow to get the middle register on the top three. The upper register is still a bit of a vague, theoretical concept. I've heard the tones once or twice, but my middle register is weak enough as it is without worrying about going higher. Next step: learning the cross-fingerings for Eb Major.
