Sunday morning on the Woronora...
Mar. 23rd, 2014 04:18 pmSunday morning and we're out for a paddle...

Far more birds than people out this early.

Inspecting the Woronora River Bridge from a new angle...

Woronora is also home to Australia's only floating fire station. It floats up and down with the tide, with those black poles keeping it in place. Why a floating fire station?

Because all the fire vehicles are boats!

The tide is very low as we reach the boat ramp, but luckily Liem jumps out to save the day...

Even if he did nearly lose a croc! (The kayakers in the background are about to run into the same problem we did, there's barely ten centimetres of water in the middle of Forbes Creek.)
