Sunday sunrise...

And the view out across the Georges River, where I normally sail. (Maritime calls this Botany Bay, but usually when people talk about Botany Bay, they mean the part further out past the mouth of the river.)

Here's the channel that runs out towards the bay. The poles are starboard markers, which means the channel is on the right hand side of them in this picture. (Technically, it means you need to keep them on your port side when heading out to sea and on your starboard side when coming in.) When I'm sailing on Thursday nights, I like to do laps around them.

Lots of people fishing quietly by the Captain Cook bridge.

And a view of the bridge itself on the way back down.

More people fishing down at the sailing club. That pole is a bit of a nuisance when you're trying to launch into an onshore breeze.
