Rivers to cross...
Jan. 17th, 2014 07:58 pmSometime, hopefully very early tomorrow morning, we'll be crossing the Woronora again, the tidal river that limits our domain to the west. A few hours later, in mid-morning, we'll cross the Murrumbidgee, which flows from the Snowy Mountains westwards and away from the coast. By lunchtime, we'll have crossed the Murray, which also flows inland from mountains on the east coast, eventually ending in South Australia. Further south, we'll cross the Goulburn, flowing inland yet again, and joining up with the Murray. Finally, dodging bushfires and road closures due to melting roads, we'll cross the Yarra, which at last starts inland and flows to the sea. And then we'll be back in the land of the Wurundjeri, and more adventures will ensue...
