Summer's Day at Cronulla

I actually went to Cronulla twice today. Once on foot, as part of my morning run...



I was a bit too late for the true sunrise, but the sun was just poking over the clouds as I got there.



And then once more by train, to look at the Endless Summer festival.



Lots of people out enjoying Gunnamatta Bay.



Or having a swim in the public baths.



Or even having a go at sailing an O'pen Bic.

Yes, it was only for a brief window of time, before the sun got too high and too bright, but I just happened to be running by at the right moment.
