Morning run on the Georges River

This run is never going to get any faster if I keep getting sunrises like this...




All these shots were taken from Tom Ugly's Bridge, looking east towards Botany Bay. (Regular readers may recognize the Captain Cook Bridge, which tends to feature in my sunset photos when I'm sailing on the other side.)



One last shot from the bridge before I had back home. The light was getting better and better as the sun started to poke through the cloud, but it was time to go...

Oh the color! That burnished dark-gold--I want to roll in it or eat it or something--just drench and cover myself in it, inside and out. How gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing.

That's one of the advantages of running when it's cloudy. On the other hand, if those clouds had been a bit closer, I might have got drenched.
