I knew how the story ends, but I was still glad to see you haul yourself in on the other side! Brrrrr.

And that vertical horizon line was quite alarming.

The video doesn't show the four or five unsuccessful attempts I made trying to climb into the boat, first from the beam, then the stern. That last one was a maximum adrenalin, survival-mode effort, which, combined with the bobbing technique, finally let me seize the toe-strap and from there I could get my life vest over the gunwale. I was completely exhausted afterwards. Not something I'd like to try too often in a row.

Even the moments of struggle that it does show make me quail a little. I *quite believe* you were exhausted afterward.
