Wednesday night, and we're trying a new brand of pre-made roti.

The first two steps seem straightforward. We peel the plastic off one side and put the roti in the pan with the uncovered side down...

Then we on & off overturn it. But, weren't we supposed to remove the other sheet of plastic first?

Here's the roti in the pan...

And after some overturning... The roti actually puffs up quite nicely like a pillow while it's cooking...

The end result... Serve with Malaysian chicken curry and dhal.

That's my question too-what do you do with the plastic wrap on the other side? ;)...Instructions sometimes make procedures seem harder (and more confusing) than they are!

Anyway, looks like you had a good result...With Malaysian chicken curry & dhal-yummm!!!

They weren't quite as fluffy as freshly made roti parathas (or roti canai, to use the Malaysian name), but they're so convenient to make.
