That was the queue to get the next flight onwards to Sydney (on what is incidentally, one of the world's busiest air routes). It goes almost all the way to the far wall and then turns left. It took over an hour just to get to the front, only to find out that the next available flight was still another four hours away.
At least I got home safely in the end. In the grand scheme of things, a eight hour delay is still a better outcome than a plane crash.

On my way home from East Timor, I'll have a five-hour or so layover in Sydney. If you're not in Malaysia (or elsewhere) at the time and are not far from the airport, maybe we can get together.
