Back again...

Back again, after three weeks "off-the-grid" down on the Surf Coast. I hadn't realised just how much stress had built over over the year until I finally got a chance for some down time.




No internet, no email, just running on the beach and swimming in the sea. Every day was a new sunrise.



After my run, and a leisurely breakfast over the papers (actually made of paper), it was time for some of this...

Thanks! I'm always conflicted when I come back from down there, because I get a glimpse of what life is like for my sister and parents who still live there. OTOH, for lunch yesterday, we went to Hurstville and had some Hunanese dishes I've never tried before. You certainly don't get that down on the surf coast...

You're welcome! It was great to get some downtime. First day back at work today though. Let's see how long my new-found calm will last...
