The tables are actually made of some form of concrete. But they still seem pretty smooth. You can lie on the grass too...

Or take the kids to the water play area.

This section is really cool. There are all sort of sluice gates and locks and pumps amongst the network of channels and the kids can operate them all. It gets really crowded on a hot day though.
The kids also love the main playground.

Or you could simply stop and admire the jacarandas.
