The following signboard has an Indonesian name which be translated literally as "Eye of the Day" and a Chinese name which be (mis-)translated as "Excessive Yang City" (Yang as in Yin and Yang). Can you guess what the real translation of both would be?

Well, in Japanese 太陽 is a formal name for the sun, so maybe something like Sunshine Eatery?

Yep, it's Sun City in Chinese and The Sun in Indonesian. So, the famous spy was actually just called "The Sun"....

In both English and Welsh a daisy is literally "the day's eye" ("llygad y dydd" in Welsh) which would mean the same as "the eye of the day", so I'm going to hazard a guess that this extends to other languages too and it's something like the Daisy Restaurant.
