Oct. 22nd, 2011 01:34 pmOf course, there was more to Jeju than just getting back to nature. These are from a display for the Hyundai myBaby design competion.

This is Jeon Chang-Hyuk's Recycling Racing Machine...

The name is Bond ... actually, beyond that I haven't got a clue what it is. But I want one.

The horseless carriage reinvented by Christopher Zarlenga. In case you're wondering, why yes, those are nuclear powered robots providing the propulsion. At least you don't have to worry about manure on the streets.

The D2-X by Dong-Sung Lee. You sit in it. And it goes fast.

I'm sure I've seen this one in an anime somewhere...

A Reno Racer... Hmm. Not sure about this one. Looks like contrarotating props, but will that inverted V-tail provide enough stability?

Who needs wheel caps when you could have rings?

Sleek. I think this was the one that was touted as a lane-splitter. No more traffic jams for you. Just as long as the other cars keep their doors closed...

Hmm. Is that explosive cord around the top of that canopy? Those don't like ejector seats. Maybe it's just for fast extraction in the event of an accident.
