The days have been really long here, as you might expect. I haven't actually stayed awake long enough to see it set yet, but it must happen around 10:30 or so.
Lots of people have been complaining about being unable to sleep, but, strangely, I've been sleeping really well, even though the room is very bright. This might be more to do with exhaustion than adaption, but it is oddly pleasant to see the sun through the window and then realise I still have two hours to lie in bed. I'm so used to getting up before the sun rises every morning, that it feels like an indulgence to be still lying in bed.
Also, oddly, the hotel room curtains don't seem to be meant to block out the light. All they seem to do is make the light a slightly different(and maybe more relaxing) colour.
In other news, we nearly had reindeer pizza last night, but the pizza oven was out. They offered to make us some reindeer pasta instead, but we decided on salmon.
