Seoul Lantern Festival

In Cheonggyecheon, a sort of artificial river running through the middle of downtown Seoul, there was an impressive display of giant lanterns (yes, those figures really are lanterns). I love the facial expressions on these ones.



They're lit up at night, of course, but even in the daytime, they were impressive.

I bet they're really awesome at night. They're amazingly colourful and detailed in the daylight.
