A good night's sleep
Nov. 30th, 2005 09:26 amNo caffeine since 9am. No alchohol. No television. One restavit tablet. The sofa bed in the lounge, so I can't hear the neighbours. A fresh set of ear plugs to dull down the traffic. A day off work the next day so I can sleep in (even though I'm behind schedule). I did wake up once at 2:30 when Liem went off, but he went off again at 4:30 apparently, and I slept through it.
Looks like I'm going to have to give up caffeine completely for the next few weeks. It's getting to the point where I care more about getting a extra hour of sleep each night than I do about the thought of giving up coffee. (That won't last, but at the moment, that's where I am),.
Long term, it looks like the solution will be finding a new place, somewhere where we can cope with a baby's sleep patterns without all the other distractions like arguing neighbours or loud traffic.
