After all the usual dramas of leaving via LAX - the traffic on the way there, the queue just to et your baggage x-rayed, the increasingly bizarre set of rituals needed to pass through security, the news that your midnight flight is now a one am flight just seems like one more step in the inevitable progresson... Except when this time, you are lucky enough to have the one pass you get a year to the OneWorld lounge, and you get sit in comfort with a glass of wine and some canapes enjoying the free internet. If only this could happen all the time...
