First draft!

khiemtranI've finished the first draft of the Solitary Goose story, coming in at just under 5000 words. Of course, being one of my stories, it doesn't actually feature a goose, but does feature cargo planes, aliens and explosions. And, oddly, belief in God.
I'm still not quite happy about the very last line, but I've got the general feeling that it all works. Of course, I say this having just finished writing, and it's quite possible that I'll wake up tomorrow and find it's all turned into rubbish.
