Macau Photos - Outside the casinos

Outside of the casinos, Macau is actually a fun place. Great food (Chinese of different varieties, bacalhau and other Portuguese specialties, and, of course the famous Portuguese egg tarts, made "Macanese" by a dash of coconut), picturesque buildings and bright lights.

No photos of the food, unfortunately, but there was a lantern festival in progress, so here are some of the bright lights...

And, of course, the brightest thing outside of the casinos is sometimes ... the outside of a casino.

Yes, it even more impressive live because all the casinos have animated light displays, some of them covering the entire building.
