No writing lately. For the last three weeks my biggest priority has been trying to get enough sleep. It's been hard enough with a new baby, but we've also just got a new set of neighbours who just don't seem to realize how much their noise carries at night in an apartment building. They've been getting complaints from other neighbours too now, so hopefully they've finally got the message.

Without enough sleep, I'm not only stressed, but also stupid. And my day job really depends on me being smart. I'm going to have to find a long-term solution quickly.

In other news, I've just splashed out and ordered the Geza Anda cycle of Mozart Piano Concertos. I've been eyeing the Philips Duo CDs with Brendel and the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields for a while now, but then found the Geza Anda cycle on Buywell at a price I couldn't resist. (I then found it wasn't quite so irresistable when they added GST on top of the list price (I'm pretty sure that's illegal in Australia), but the price was still pretty good.)

Hmm. Reading your LJ, it sounds like you're doing it even tougher then me. At least I don't have to work night shifts. But five hours sleep _in a row_ sounds pretty good right now...
