The Airbus A330-300, with 303 passengers and a crew of 10, struck what the airline described as a "sudden change in altitude" north of its destination yesterday.
Fourteen people seriously injured, some with broken bones. At least it's a salutary lesson on the importance of wearing a seatbelt. And my next flight is on an A330 too, although not Qantas. Now, if the typhoons will just behave...
