May. 16th, 2008 07:12 pmWhen you have a conference next week that you're providing the projector for, and you have just tested the projector, with the laptop you will be using, and you have ten minutes to go before the office closes and you have just packed everything away and you suddenly realize you've tested it with the short vga cable that's too short to use in the actual meeting room and not the brand new long cable that you've been given...
... you unpack everything again, the projector, the laptop, the cable, the power cord and hook everything up together. And when the long turns out not to work after all, five minutes before your last chance ends to get a replacement, you file that away as a valuable piece of reinforcement.
