Liem discovers recursion...
Apr. 24th, 2008 07:43 pm- How does your story go, Liem?
- Daddy says to me, "It's time for dinner". I says "I want to read my book." Mummy says "Can he let him his book."
- And do you read your book?
- Yes!
- What does the book say?
- Daddy says "It's time for dinner." I say "I want to read my book." Mummy says "Let me read my book."
- What does the book say?
- Daddy says "It's time for dinner..."
The funniest part is that the first time he told this story it really was time for dinner, and I really did tell him that, and then he told the rest of the story with a book pressed to his nose pretending to read. After two iterations, he got to "End of story."
- Are you ready for dinner now, Liem?
- Yes!
