Two weeks of exercise, and so far I've gained and lost a kilo.
Yes, this is on purpose (and my scale does have a tolerance of roughly 1 kg). I've been eating extra to compensate.
The whole point of the ... er... exercise, is to get back to regular heart and lung exercise without getting rundown and falling sick again. This has meant exercising only indoors on the exercise bike, strict time and distance limits and strict warm ups and warm downs. It's a far cry from running under the stars or playing pick up soccer till late into the night, but so far it's going okay.
Making the transition to 5 am starts has also been relatively painless. I think I might actually be getting more sleep now because I'm genuinely sleepy by 8:30 pm, instead of just tired. On the downside, I've been genuinely throughout most of the day too. I still have to work on that.
