khiemtranIn the news yesterday was the loss of Korea's Number One National Treasure.
What must it be like to lose your top national treasure? I'm not even sure Australia has anything comparable that the qualify. The Opera House or the MCG perhaps are the closest buildings. Parliament House was carefully designed so that no one would notice if someone did burn it down. Maybe the Barrier Reef or the Daintree (come to think of it, maybe we could lose the reef). All our 600 year old buildings were left behind in the old country (whichever one that is).
