Nov. 18th, 2007 02:46 pmOur favourite Japanese café (Yama in the QVB) has re-opened after renovating, and now features a lurid gold padded wall along one side. Luckily, they still have their chocolate mousse torte. Yama is especially nice if you can get a window seat with a view out over George Street.
OKF brand Korean seaweed snacks are ridiculously addictive.
Pho Xic Lo in Haymarket was almost empty on a Saturday morning, which was somewhat surprising. I had bún bò Hué there for the first time in probably two years.
When buying chocolates from Bon-Bon, allow at least ten minutes if you want a box of dark chocolates, as they only have mixed selections pre-packed.
