Missing...

As I write this, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is listed as "Missing" somewhere en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. It hasn't been confirmed as crashed yet, although that looks like the only remaining possibility. It seems astonishing in this day and age that a large plane can vanish without a trace and that so many hours after it disappeared, no-one knows what has happened to it.

This afternoon, on the train back from the city, I watched the planes leave from the airport and wondered what it would be like to board a plane, knowing that the fate of MH370 was still unknown.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those on board, and their family and friends.
